AIA Headquarters in NYC – This design for the American Institute of Architects’
New York headquarters proposes locating a self-supporting 3-D structural grid
within and existing brick wall enclosure. The functioning spaces and circulation
system are placed in and on the structural grid. The importanceof light, which
defines the architectural experience,is emphasized.
